To Order

Before you order your kilt, make sure you contact me to discuss the tartan you want, and any other details that might be pertinent.  I will quote you a price based on your requirements.  (You can refer to my price schedule here to see the range).  You also need to provide me with your measurements

Once I have given you a quote, you can send money to me one of three ways.

1. You can pay with any major credit card via PayPal by clicking on the button below.

2. You can mail a check or money order made payable to Matthew Newsome to me c/o the Scottish Tartans Museum, 86 East Main St, Franklin NC 28734.

3. If you can actually come by the Scottish Tartans Museum or can find me at a Highland Games or other Scottish festival in the south east, you can pay me cash.

I require payment up front before I begin work on your kilt.  If you do not want to pay the full amount at once, a 50% deposit is required for me to order your cloth.  The remaining balance is due before I perform any cut, trim, or tailoring.

Shipping cost is $16.00 if shipped within the US.  I ship my kilts out by FedEx, which is insured and able to be tracked.  If you pay on line, PayPal will automatically add the shipping cost.  If you pay by other means, please remember to add this amount.  For international shipments, please contact me for a quote.

With my current workload, your kilt typically can be ready to deliver to you in about 16 weeks.  If you have a deadline, you have to let me know up front.  I will do my best to work with you, within reason.

If, when you receive your kilt, you are unsatisfied with the fit, please let me know as soon as possible and I will have it corrected.

Each kilt comes with my label on the inside.  I am proud of my work and not afraid to put my name on each kilt I make.  I won't put my label on any kilt that I would not be glad to wear myself!
