Kilt Accessories

When you purchase your kilt, you are likely to need other accessories, especially if this is your first kilt.  The basics include a sporran, belt, hose, and garter flashes.  You may also want a jacket, bonnet, clan crest badge or kilt pin.

For the purchase of your kilt accessories, I recommend that you shop from the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shopThe Scottish Tartans Museum is a non-profit heritage center dedicated to education about, and preservation of, the traditions of Highland Dress.  All proceeds from your purchases go directly to fund the museum.

You can find pretty much anything you need to wear with your kilt through the gift shop.  As I am also the curator and manager of the Scottish Tartans Museum, your purchase continues to support my livelihood, so thank you!  This also means that I am intimately familiar with what is available through the gift shop, and will be glad to make recommendations and suggestions.  If it can be worked out, your accessories can also be shipped with your kilt to save shipping cost.  Just let me know what you need.
